Renthal Signs
Rockstar Makita Suzuki ATV Team
Renthal is pleased to announce the signing
of the Rockstar Makita Suzuki ATV team for the 2010 season. Multi-time
champion Dustin Wimmer and Josh Creamer will lead the way for a team
that has won more ATVA motocross championships than any other in recent
history. The team will use Renthal handlebars, grips, chainwheels
and chain on their Yoshimura tuned LTR450’s.
“Even though the powersports industry
has been struggling in this down economy, Renthal is committed to racing
and having representation at the factory level in the ATVA motocross
series,” Stated Brad Cameron, Brand Manager for Renthal. “We
feel that the Rockstar Makita Suzuki team has this same level of commitment,
and for this reason, we couldn’t be happier with signing them.”
Team Manager Kory Ellis had this to say
about the new partnership, "Everyone is very excited to have Renthal
come aboard with the Rockstar Makita Suzuki ATV team this year.
Renthal is known for its world class handlebars, sprockets and chains
and we couldn’t think of a better sponsor to support us as we head
into to the 2010 season and look for our third AMA pro ATV championship
in as many years. The only question is Dustin going to take it
again or is Josh going to take it from him."
In addition to the handlebars, grips
and chainwheels, the team will also be using Renthal’s R1 Works Chain
which is a high performance lightweight non o-ring chain.
