2011 CAN-AM OUTLANDER 500/500XT ($7799/$9299)

The Outlander 500 is based on the somewhat older Can-Am chassis and has MacPherson strut front suspension. The fuel-injected, EFI, V-twin motor produces over 40 horsepower. The XT model’s most significant upgrade is power steering, but it also gets a 3000-pound winch with remote control, cast alloy wheels, hand guards and bumpers.
