Yesterday we received a package from EVS Sports in the mail, and today new products keep flowing in, only this time from a different company. Christi Evers, from Applied Racing, sent the Dirt Wheels staff a triple clamp and handlebar kit, as well as a nine piece Hex Wrench set.
The kit, which retails for under $160 (at $159.95), comes with a limited edition top triple clamp, handlebar perches, oversized 1 1/8" diameter handlebars, and a bar pad. If you ride a '04 Honda 125, 250, or four-stroke then you’re in luck. Applied also offers the kit for ’04-’05 Yamaha 125, 250, and YZF’s. If you don’t own a CR or YZ, keep on the lookout because the crew at Applied Racing is developing the kit for more models as we speak. The triple clamp and handlebar kit looks like a great product, but the Dirt Wheels staff really started drooling over Applied Racing’s nine-piece Hex Wrench set. If you’re a mechanic of any sort or just like to dabble in mechanical improvement, this $31.95 set is for you. Each wrench is double ended, meaning that it features a ball point hex on the longer end and a standard hex key on the shorter end. The nine-piece set includes 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, and 12mm sizes.
