2011 SUZUKI QUADSPORT 250 (2009 model, $4199) Suzuki aimed its 250 at the rider who might have a little experience, but you can still consider it if you’re a rank beginner. It has an automatic clutch with a five-speed gearbox. Starting is electric, and the price is reasonable for a Japanese quad. In performance, the only quad in the class that decisively beats the Suzuki is the manual-clutch Yamaha Raptor 250.
